Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when using Jammy:
- Account data: Email address, display name, username, profile photo, and country when you create an account.
- Submission data: Artist name, song name, email address, optional social links and notes when submitting music for review.
- Audio files: Music files you upload for review (stored in Supabase Storage).
- Payment data: Payment information is processed directly by Stripe. We store only transaction IDs, amounts, and payment status — never card numbers or banking details.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and session activity to improve the platform.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and maintain the platform — managing queues, processing submissions, and facilitating reviews.
- To process payments via Stripe Connect, including applying platform fees and directing payouts to hosts.
- To send transactional emails — submission confirmations, feedback notifications, and refund receipts.
- To provide hosts with submission data and analytics for sessions they host.
- To improve the platform based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
3. Third-Party Services
Jammy integrates with the following services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — Database, authentication, and file storage.
- Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe collects payment details directly. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — Hosting and deployment. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery.
4. Cookies and Local Storage
Jammy uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. These are necessary for the platform to function and cannot be disabled. We use local storage to persist user preferences such as cookie consent choices.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
- With hosts who run sessions you submit to — they see your submission details (artist name, song, email, social links, notes).
- With payment processors (Stripe) to complete transactions.
- If required by law, court order, or government request.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Submission data and audio files are retained as long as the host's account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — Update or correct inaccurate data via your account settings.
- Deletion — Request deletion of your account and data.
- Portability — Request your data in a portable format.
To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Row Level Security on database tables, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the platform. Your continued use of Jammy after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or want to exercise your data rights, please contact us through the platform.
